AIR SHUT OFF VALVE

The Flap Valves shall be installed into an Environmental Control System (ECS) used to control the ambient temperature of cockpit and passenger cabin of single engine helicopter.
Two possible applications are in to control Cabin Heating line and to control the fresh air inlet.
The main use is the opening / closing of the air passage inside 1.5" ducts.
The valves will act on the outside air intake, and the cab heating.
It is made up of an Electromechanical Actuator which acts on the flabellum in charge of closing the free section of a 1.5 "duct.
The main parts of the entire valve are made using PEEK techno polymer, developed by Victrex and widely used in the aeronautical sector, thanks to its extremely high performance
