FLAPPER VALVE

This product is characterized by a straight duct 2.5” (AS5131-40 style “A”) two ways, complitely made in PEEK.
The Flapper Valve is installed into an Environmental Control System used to manage the ambient temperature of cockpit and passenger cabin in helicopters and airplanes.
Moved by a simple actuator with brushed lightweight motor, with internal EMI filter and end-stroke electronic control.
TEMA produces two main types of Butterfly Valves to control air distribution:
- Motorized Flapper Valve, remotely electrically controlled by 28Vdc rotary actuator
- Manual Flap Valve, directly actuated by hand via a remote turning knob and flexible shaft
Valves are fully qualified for RTCA-DO160.
